Well sir, your list is very good, especially Puerto Rico, Tikal and Agricola.

I've been playing boardgames for over 30 years, and "Caylus" is top's for me.

1. Caylus
2. Railways of the World,...basically, Railroad Tycoon
3. Power Grid
4. Ra
5. Still love all the "Carcassonnes"   Grin

Look out for "Automobile" coming out later this year.  I'll be stocking a bunch of copies for definate.

Games worth a mention.....Mr Jack, Abandon Ship, History of the World, Small World, Metropolys, Straw, Memior 44', Turn & Taxis.........and I can go on.

We always play boardgames in the shop, so if interested, drop me a line.  I also have a huge stock of games, so if you've been looking for an old game, or can't get a new one, just ask..

My experience isn't nearly as expansive as either of you, but here goes:

1.  Dominion (Yip, straight in at No.1)
2.  Talisman (Brokenness and randomness aside, I love this game)
3.  Escape From Colditz
4.  Hero Quest (Best.  Childhood. Ever.)
5.  Uncle Billy's Bran Tub (A game that none of you will sadly ever play, as it is of my dad's devising and doesn't exist anymore.  It was awesome.)

Honorable mentions (games I've played, enjoyed, and can remember) - Nuclear War!, Atmosfear (a tough cut from the top5), Space Hulk, Wizard Quest, Dungeon Quest

Wow....Heroquest !

I still have 2 copies of it, and........all the furniture is all painted, all the monsters, and hero's.

I got all the expansions too(obv) and painted all the Ogres etc(Against the Ogre Horde ?)

We had a Heroquest sesh once a week for around 3 years, lol...........then there was "Advanced Heroquest".....sweet

I'm not sure if I can count Commands & Colors as a board game, but if I could it would be my number 1. Assuming it isn't, then here's my list:

1) Agricola
2) Colosseum
3) Power Grid
4) Descent: Journeys in the Dark
5) Through the Ages

But if you asked me this question again tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I'd give a different answer. Smiley
