Dave,
         Could you knock together a post on how to use the events calendar to 'Post events' I notice folks will likely just post their event in events area but it doesn't seem to appear on the calendar unless you post the event from the calendar.

BTW i love the calendar function of this forums and think it will be the biggest asset this forum has for letting everyone else in scotland knwo what we're all up to.

Tom,

I'll put together a tutorial for this in the next day or so.  It's fairly straightforward but better to get everyone to use it the same way as much as possible.

Dave,

I've just added an event to the calender for the first time (Sun 24th).  If possible, could you let me know if the format is OK, before I post a pile more?
