I've seen the box in static games in Glasgow, but its £65.

Anyone bought it? Is it any good?

As a seasoned WFRP Gamemaster as much as I was excited at FFG putting their 'splish' on the concept and admiring what they are trying to do with the crossover from BGs->RPGs I think ultimately they will struggle to please both camps.

Cert with the high pricetag I'm not even going to give it a try out (as 2nd edish was perfectly ok and Green Ronin did a great job with the supplements) and it looks suspiciously as if it will require a hoard of supplements to plug the yawning gaps in the main set. However the special dice pools is intriguing.

It might well encourage boardgamers such as the Runebound or Arkham Horror players to give a more character driven boardgame a go but I think the RPGers will stay away.
